Hi, I’m Daniela, a 33-year-old woman living in Toronto. In my early 20s, I was diagnosed with PCOS and insulin resistance — two things that completely shifted how I understood my body, my energy, and my health. Like many women, I left the doctor’s office with more questions than answers, and very little support.

Over the years, I’ve worked with a family doctor, a naturopath, and a registered dietitian to help balance my hormones, support my metabolism, and navigate the ups and downs of weight management. It’s been a long and emotional road, and I know firsthand how overwhelming and isolating it can feel — especially when no one around you is going through the same thing.

This website was born from that space. A space where I wished someone had simply said, “Here, this might help.”

I created this platform to make it easier for other women to access helpful, evidence-informed resources — the kind of information shared with me by registered professionals along the way. Whether you’re newly diagnosed, frustrated by conflicting advice, or just tired of feeling like PCOS has taken over your identity, I want you to know: you are not alone.

Your weight, your diagnosis — they don’t define you. And while it can feel like a burden, or even your entire identity at times, there is another way to live and feel supported.

I’m still on my journey. But walking it alongside someone who gets it makes it feel so much more doable. If that’s you — welcome. You’re in the right place.
